Saweetie‘s “My Type” gets the dance music treatment thanks to Dillon Francis‘ brand new, booty poppin’ remix!

“My Type” is danceable enough in its original form, but Dillon completely transforms the track from a hard hip hop cut into a moombahton anthem. The producer keeps the OG track intact for about 20 seconds before busting into his own vibe — which we really appreciate because the beginning of “My Type” absolutely slaps. From there, he works in his signature rhythm and flair, percussion and synths, for an irresistible result.

This year saw the release of Saweetie’s ICY EP, spawning viral sensation “My Type,” which earned an RIAA gold certification, debuted on Billboard‘s Hot 100 and Pop Songs charts and hit #1 at Urban and Rhythmic Radio. Now, it’s primed for the dance floor.

Of all the treats we’re getting this New Music Friday, this remix has to be our favorite! Listen here.
