Gareth Emery is calling upon the thoughts & prayers of the trance community after getting the news that close friend, DJ and producer Ashley Wallbridge is in the hospital with meningitis.

Meningitis is an inflammation of the membranes surrounding your brain and spinal cord, and often manifests in symptoms such as headache, fever and a stiff neck. Viral meningitis is rarely life-threatening, but can leave you with lifelong after-effects. According to Emery, Wallbridge’s legs are currently paralyzed.

Hopefully there’s a positive prognosis in Wallbridge’s future. Emery is asking for fans to “give him a follow and send him some love either on his own page or this post… he has a major fight on his hands and every comment / follow will mean a lot.⁣”

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next.
