How cool is that - a budding rock and roll band here at Beatking. Welcome to Beatking, dude strumma'

Ok, I couldnt open your player, but I went to the band's link to download the video. Now that was impressive. Nicely shot. I thought the sound quality could be a little better, but I was really impressed with the last minute, particularly the guitar and drums solo. You guys have a tight high energy band - and the fact you are only freshmen in high school is impressive. Damn, I wish I had been that good at your age B)

Those are high school juniors? Is this a crank?

It's pretty good. Good beat, technically proficient. I wasn't hyper about the lead vocal, but the voice didn't break or anything. It would probably grow on a person.

Nice. Is this your band?

It was decent. There are times when it just passes as metal. Too many styles in "Requiem" and too many tempo changes. The sound quality was below average also.

There seems to be some classical influence going on in "The Depths of Those Lost." Almost Yngwie sounding. But once again, the momentum is lost with the softer passage. It's a nice buildup again, however, to the faster, more aggressive sections. More varied tempos. I prefer this one more.

DiminisheD is a blend of hardcore and melodic music. Although they are at a very young age(Freshmen in High School), DiminisheD is incredibly serious about their music. DiminisheD was started in the year of 2002. Some of their favorite bands are: Thrice, Thursday, Poison the Well, Beloved, As I Lay Dying, The Bled, Further Seems Forever, and Glassjaw.

On a side note, the above word in italics should be changed on the site.

Other than that, a great effort. Continue mastering your craft and you will succeed.

but I will find a dislike. I know its the kind of music your playing (poision the well you remind me of) but I did not like that type of punk rock volcals. But thats the direction your aiming (i guess) so keep going.

Also props to the drummer that is good.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
