The madness surrounding ScHoolboy Q's CrasH Talk is upon us, and after listening to the record, it's for good measure. Q's fifth studio record is already being hailed as his best yet, and it should be a step us from the rest considering her trashed two other completed albums prior to this finished project because he didn't deem them to be good enough.

There are plenty of stand-out songs on this 14-track record, but his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and YG titled "Lies" is one that fans have already been playing on repeat. It may not be as aggressive as "Numb Numb Juice"; embrace those old school beats like "Attention"; or give off a dreamy, indie hip hop vibe like "Dangerous"; but "Lies" is a smooth, catchy track. The song only features one verse from both Q and YG as Ty Dolla $ign adds his buttery vocals to the chorus.

Quotable Lyrics

Left the b*tch attitude at the old place
488, yeah, with the road rage
Nine on my lap, I ain't never play it safe
I ain't gotta rap to you n*ggas, been straight
You ain't Q
Lying for the 'Gram, b*tch, you ain't cute
Hate this, hate that, that ain't cool
Said I did you dirty, but that ain't true, aye

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
