About a week ago the famed World Club Dome released their aftermovie showcasing the winter installment that took place in Düsseldorf, Germany in November of last year. Nearly 90,000 attendees descended onto the three day event at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA, transforming it into the largest club in the world.

While the main stage played host to some of the largest names in electronic music – The Chainsmokers, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marshmello, Nervo, Ingrosso, and more – it was really the micro-clubs, which encircled the large concert area spread over the weekend, that attracted the masses.

“We are completely overwhelmed that this concept was so well received,” said Bernd Breiter, CEO of BigCityBeats. “People were thrilled that the main days, with tens of thousands of revelers, were only a few meters from the small, intimate clubs. Butan Club, WCD Pool Sessions, Silq, Global Stage, 102 Club – all within easy walking distance.”

One thing that really stood about this winter edition of World Club Dome were some of the extremely unique offerings they had outside of the music. It had and enormously diversified program of events, attended by numerous guests and VIPs. Many World Clubbers took the opportunity and participated in a “Shuffle Workshop” by Arina Luisa on Sunday afternoon for one.

All in all, this edition was a success and we can’t wait to see what their next one has to offer! Check out the aftermovie below and be sure to snag tickets to their main event this June.

June’s edition of World Club Dome is right around the corner so you better snatch up tickets while you can, prices go up tonight!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
