Since catching Rome in Silver playing Space Yacht in LA a couple weeks ago, he’s been my newest obsession. Now, he’s out with a new track called “Fool” and it’s proven there’s a reason for my madness.

“Fool” thrives on its simplicity, a clean bassline, a lead synth, a vocal sample, and some drums are all it takes to make this song absolutely addicting. It’s the empty space, the sway and flow of it that’s so uncomplicated you can’t possibly find anything to hate about it. It’s deep house but groovy, with a funky bassline and crunchy synths, truly the best of any world.

Check out “Fool” from Rome in Silver below, out now via Thrive.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
