Tyga Comes Through With A Straight Banger On "Goddamn"

It's a good time to have a Tiger-related name. While Tiger Woods is taking home his fifth Green Jacket, west coast rapper Tyga has added yet another a banger to his resume. Once again teaming with D.A. Doman for that dope, Tyga takes to an up-tempo string driven banger; the foundation picks up where "Dip" left off, only with more of a generalized focus this time around. In fact, it's one of those instrumentals that's undeniably hard, and will likely find longevity well into the summer months.

Lyrically, a Tyga don't change his stripes. Hedonism and unbridled sexuality remain his raisons d'etre, the symptom of a DM inbox stuffed with twerk videos ad-infinitum. Painting a picture of his sun-drenched sexcapades, T-Raww spits masterfully over Doman's regal string arrangement, riding the beat with a sharpened flow not altogether present on previous bangers. Clearly, Tyga and D.A. have stumbled upon an elixir of sorts, and they seem more than willing to keep the consistency coming. "Goddamn" may be their finest hour yet. What do you think?

Quotable Lyrics

Goddamn, you n***as ain't worthy
She gon' kiss on my dick like a Hershey
Put it so deep, she like baby don't hurt me
Fu*kin rappers and athletes she need a jersey
Always in the club I can't love her cause she thirsty
And I'm watching everything see them n***as lurking

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
