Awww...you guys are great...THANK YOU ALL.

She died in her sleep...just stopped breathing...she was 11 years old (I'm guessing) because we adopted her from a shelter and the vet there said she was "around 3" and we had her for 8 years.

She loved to lick feet! (Dude  )

God I miss her...thanks again everyone..

Warflower ... what a beautiful furbaby, your Aja ... her eyes, just like my Frostee's eyes ... mesmerizing ... no matter how old or young, so hard to go through ... my sympathies to your family for your loss but happy for all you shared together ...

deb...so very sorry. :( It's tough at first. I told myself..that's it! No more dogs I can't handle it when I lose them...I've lost too many.

BUT...

This weekend was my husband's birthday...he really wanted another dog so we adopted Mookie. My youngest son is so happy. I couldn't say no to this face.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
