Bajofondo Tangoclub

It seems that Argentina has developed a cool new sound these past few years with groups like Gotan Project and Bajofondo Tangoclub. Tango combined with new electro sounds and the result is simply amazing. Drum & Bass, some spanish hip hop, scratches, sexy vocals, violins in the backround and live shows that make you forget to breath. One of the coolest music scenes today which was born and lives in one the best cities in the world. Buenos Aires!

I saw Bajofondo Tangoclub on Monday night and it was the most amazing live show I have ever heard. They played a billion times better than they did on the album, added the violin on all tracks, a guy was filming the whole thing and we watched it on the big screen behind them. Go see them if they ever play around your area.

Winners of the BBC World Music Awards, Latin Grammy Awards and many other awards around the globe.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
