Από τα Λουτρά Σαμοθράκης στα Λουτρά Τραιανούπολης από 21 έως 23 Ιουλίου 2006.

Μετά την μεγάλη επιτυχία του 1 Samothraki World Music Festival, το φεστιβάλ μεταφέρεται γεωγραφικά στην υπέροχη τοποθεσία Λουτρών Τραιανούπολης (Στο14 χλμ Αλεξανδρούπολης-Συνόρων) και μετονομάζετε σε Thraki Ethnic Festival.

Κάτω από αιωνόβια πλατάνια και δίπλα στον ποταμό Λουτρό, μεγάλοι διεθνείς και έλληνες καλλιτέχνες θα δώσουν και πάλι το παρόν τους σε αυτό το μοναδικό Φεστιβάλ μουσικής και χορού από όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη του πλανήτη μας.

Τα καλλιτεχνικά δρώμενα θα συμπεριλαμβάνουν σεμινάρια και παραστάσεις Ζογκλέρ από τους Lazy Dayz , όπως και σεμινάρια κρουστών και θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Στα πλαίσια του φεστιβάλ και τις πρωινές ώρες θα προσφέρονται εκδρομές με ποδήλατα και καγιάκ στον υδροβιότοπο του Δέλτα του Έβρου και στο Δάσος της Δαδιάς από την εταιρία εναλλακτικού τουρισμού Riverland.

Άλλες επιλογές θα είναι: τοξοβολία ,τοίχος αναρρίχησης και σε απόσταση 1 χλμ από τον χώρο του φεστιβάλ βρίσκεται η οργανωμένη μονάδα θερμών λουτρών του Δήμου Τραιανούπολης για θεραπευτικά λουτρά και ο ιππικός όμιλος Tραιανούπολης για μαθήματα και εκδρομές ιππασίας.

Η πρόσβαση στον χώρο του φεστιβάλ γίνεται μέσω τακτικής αστικής συγκοινωνίας από την Αλεξανδρούπολη.

Το ημερήσιο εισιτήριο εισόδου είναι 10 ευρώ ,εισιτήριο 3 ημέρου 25ευρώ, τα οποία θα διατίθενται στην είσοδο του φεστιβάλ.

Υπάρχει ελεύθερος κατασκηνωτικός χώρος με ρεύμα νερό και Τουαλέτες

Το Φεστιβάλ το συνδιοργανώνουν η Υπερνομαρχία Ροδόπης Έβρου ,ο Δήμος Τραιανούπολης,η Νομαρχία Έβρου, Κύδων (Πολιτιστικός σύλλογος Ροδόπης) και οι εταιρία διοργάνωσης πολιτιστικών εκδηλώσεων Weproductions.

FROM THE HOT SPRINGS OF SAMOTHRACE TO THE HOT SPRINGS OF TRAIANOUPOLIS

21-23 JULY 2006

Following the success of SAMOTHRAKI WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2005,

This year we are moving to a new location, with the wonderful backdrop of the Traianoupolis springs (14km outside Alexandroupolis-toward the border with Turkey).

And this year's festival has been named the THRAKI ETHNIC FESTIVAL.

In the shade of age old sycamore trees next to the Loutro River, artists from Greece and the four corners of the world will be here again to create a unique festival of music and dance.

Festival events will also include Juggling seminars and performances from Lazy Dayz, Percussion Seminars and Theatre performances.

In the Mornings of the festival, before the performances begin, the alternative tourism company RIVERLAND will offer cycling trips in the spectacular setting of the river Evros estuary and the Dadia Forest. Other activities include Archery and a Climbing Wall.

Only one kilometre from the festival site also there are the Thermal baths of the Municipality of Traianoupolis and a horse riding centre which provides both lessons and riding excursions for those who prefer to see the countryside at a more relaxed pace.

Access to the festival site is possible by a regular local bus service from Alexandroupolis (also the nearest airport for overseas visitors)

Daily tickets cost only 10euro and 3day tickets 25euro and both will be available at the gate.

Ample Camping space is available with electricity and drinking water and toilet and shower facilities.

The festival is co-Organised by the Municipalities of Rodopis Evros, Traianoupolis,Evros and Kidon, The Rodopis Cultural Society ,the Loutra Forest Partnership and festival promoters WEPRODUCTIONS.
