Armand van Helden - My My My.

I was listening to the Armand Van Helden song My My My. I decided to find out who he sampled for the lyrics. I have found 2 different stories. Both say he sampled Gary Wright's music. One said it was from the song "Comin' Apart" and the other said it was from the song "Dreamweaver". I have listened to Dreamweaver and I'm just not hearing the sample anywhere, nor do I think the sample could have come from Gary Wright. It sounds more like Michael Jackson or something. Does anyone have any ideas as to who this lyrics sample is actually from?

A sample can sometimes be really hard to find especially if the "thief" is talented. Sometimes is really easy to spot. You just take the song and change the lyrics.

The worst way of sampling is Madonna's Hung Up. They just took the Abba aong and changed the lyrics. Easy money.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
