Pete Doherty Arrested again

I don't have anything against artists that use drugs and say it publically but this guy has overdone it. NME reports that he was again arrested yesterday in East London for driving like a maniac and carrying a load of drugs.

I never in my life have seen such a dumb act by an artist or a public figure before. Never. Rock monsters like Iggy, Keith Richards just to mention a couple, have never acted like that. Or they did in times where it was cool to do so.

Give me a break kid. If you want to die, go die in some corner and get it over with. Don't let the whole world know that you are a dumbass.

The fans pay loads of money to see your sorry ass only to find out that you have cancelled yet again.

It's a shame really cause you COULD make pretty decent music. So long.

EDIT: He was arrested twice today...

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
