I'm really impressed by how much faster, and convenient this new browser:

Mozilla Firefox is.

It also stops all popups!!

How nice is that?.

The download is free and available from here:

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

If you have been using IE6 ...this is a great leap forward.[/i][/b]

Installs easy...and sets up quickly. Even your Favorites from IE6 are accessable.

Make the jump and try a new browser today!

I've been using Firefox for a few days now. So far it's glitch free and hopefully it'll stay that way. I like the tabs which was why I used Opera a lot too. Sadly, neither can handle web pages that use 'document.all' (whatever that is). and you get a nice blank page.

Firefox is very nice. No pop-ups. The download manager is real nice. Firebird was good. This is even better! I'm definately going to stay with this one. IE is history!! I would recommend Firefox to anybody that has had enough of IE and all of it's security holes.

I just installed, and I have to say it looks incredible.

1) There is no comparison to IE in loading pages, this is superfast.

2) Imported IE favourites are ALL shown and easily copied over

3) Automatic pop-up blocking

I'm impressed.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
