Listen to A$AP Rocky Read Jane Austen, Florence Read William Blake for Gucci

Gucci has enlisted A$AP Rocky and Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) for the rollout of its Fall/Winter 2017 fashion show. The invite to the show (which took place earlier today and is available to watch here) was a vinyl record with Welch reading a poem on the A-side and Rocky reading another on the B-side. Welch read from William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and Experience, and Rocky recited Jane Austen’s “A love letter from Frederic Wentworth to Anne Elliot” from the novel Persuasion. Both tracks are available to hear on the Gucci app. Check them out on iOS and Android. Below, check out images and video of the record.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
