they call the wind mariah ... sung by the kingston trio ...

(i have a relative named Moriah ... and everytime an older one would hear her name (even though spelled a little differently), they would say ... Moriah? "they call the wind mariah!" ... so i thought i'd find it and send it to her ... so she could hear the song that they all kept referring to ... and me listening to it now!!)

Just got through listening to Todd Rundgren's great new album, Liars. What a surprise to find out that he's doing better music now than he has in a couple decades! I'm suplying a link where you can see a clip of rundgren from the David Letterman show this spring, doing a great song from the album....Soulbrother. Go way down the clips list until you find "Todd Rundgren's Liars....Soulbrother. Click the derby hat and enjoy it!

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
