Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody (Andre Anjos Remix)

Andre is one of the busiest re-mixers in the business. This version is my pick for best single of the year. You can download it courtesy of Rcrd Lbl

Here is the original song from the Kings of Leon's Only By The Night album. I was surprised to see Fox use it over the World Series end credits - which is why I'm reposting it.

The Beatles (?) - Over the Ocean

This has to be one of the oddest things I've ever come across. But it certainly sounds like The Beatles and I have never heard this song before and i know their collection really, really well.

The Mystery behind the song lies HERE - along with a whole NEW album of Beatles music ... at least it sounds like them B) If it isn't, it's a really great hoax

Edit/Added: The folks at Reddit have figured out the mystery. This a very good mashup of rare songs from The Beatles solo efforts.

Norah Jones - The Fall (2009)

Her new album is to be released Nov. 17th. Pirate it before you can buy it. Whatever. I wouldn't have bothered with this but I knew the wifey would want it. I have to admit that I think she has more talent than lots of current popular artists.

Tracks:

01. Chasing Pirates

02. Even Though

03. Light As a Feather

04. Young Blood

05. I Wouldn't Need You

06. Waiting

07. It's Gonna Be

08. You've Ruined Me

09. Back to Manhattan

10. Stuck

11. December

12. Tell Yer Mama

13. Man of the Hour

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
