" spoonful "...ten years after from the remastered album " ten years after "...

A great album...their "Undead" and "Stonedhenge" albums are great too. Love that jazz touch they had in their early days.

I'm listening now to Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs

just finished Mark Knopfler - Shangri-La

I'm listening to that damn video of the Russians singing and dancing from a week ago.

I think it's some kind of mind control.

I'm listening now to Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs

robin trower is one of my favourite guitarists..and a very underrated one at that.....his live stuff from about `72 to about `79 is excellent.....he does a version of " all along the watchtower " with the dave matthews band that is a stand out..i have practically everything that he`s done including his early work with procul harum......now listening to robin trower ,jack bruce and bill lordan 1981 album " truce " BLT (Bruce, Lordan & Trower)..." TRUCE "..

" orgone accumulator ".....hawkwind...from the album " masters of the universe "

Orgone Accumulator..... by Hawkwind

Lyrics (Calvert / Brock)

I've got an Orgone Accumulator

It makes me feel greater

I'll see you sometime later

When I'm through with my Accumulator

It's no social integrator

It's a one man isolator

It's a back brain stimulator

It's a cerebral vibrator

Those energy stimulators

Turn your eyeballs into crators

But an Orgone Accumulator

Is a superman creator

It's no social integrator

It's a one man isolator

It's a back brain stimulator

It's a cerebral vibrator

I've got an Orgone Accumulator

And it makes me feel grater

I'll see you sometime later

When I'm through with my Accumulator

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
