Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man (1968)

I was reminded of this song while reading The Passion Of Weiss visiting The Playboy Mansion. The song has an interesting history to say the least. George Harrison wrote a verse which was never used. Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page did not play on the song, but John Paul Jones did. John Bonham is credited on the album as a percussionist.
