"Serial Killer" ...Chrome Division....from the album "DoomsDay Rock and Roll' (2006)...Chrome Division is a heavy metal band from Norway formed in 2004 by Shagrath, the lead vocalist of symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, and Lex Icon, founder of The Kovenant....Another lot of european metallers that i`ve just discovered....these guys do sound A LOT like Motorhead..apart from the boring and monotonous sexual imagery and biker culture overkill....i like it... :lol: :lol:

Metric - Help Me, I'm Alive

Metric is a Canadian New Wave/indie rock band. Originally formed in 1998 in New York City, they are currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Los Angeles, California and Brooklyn, New York. The band consists of vocalist Emily Haines (who also plays the synthesizer), guitarist James Shaw, bassist Josh Winstead and drummer Joules Scott-Key.

This is the title track from the promo album, which was released late last year. They have a new promo out, Front Row, which was released this week. BluClover notes that a full album, Fantasies, is due out in April B) Special props to The Yellow Stereo for bringing them to my attention.

Lights - February Air (2009)

Lights is an indie band from Toronto, Canada. Don't know much about them other than they just played the Facebook party @ SXSW. The song is fairly pop, but the lead singer has a nice voice ... and I can see how she would appeal to the early 20 something crowd at the party B)

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
