'stoned guitar'..human instinct...(1967)..a new zealand classic.... :)This album is eagerly sought after by vinyl collectors and in recent years has fetched up to $1000 per copy....these guys are all mates of mine....we go back to the early 60`s.....we all used to get high and go and watch them when they were doing their thing in the late `60`s.....they were very cool in their day.... :) :)

Thrill - dZihan And Kamien featuring Ma Dita

Vlado Dzihan and Mario Kamien discovered each other while studying in the city of Vienna. Vienna is also the home of other popular artists such as Mozart and Kruder & Dorfmeister. Dzihan was raised by a musical family in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia and Kamien was raised in Switzerland. The two were drawn into Turkish music.

Dzihan and Kamien's first full-lengthed CD, 'Freaks & Icons', was inspired by their first European hit called 'Der Bauch' when the group was formelly called 'MC Sultan' in 1996. 'Der Bauch' made an appearance on the highly influential Stoned Asia compilation.

dZihan & Kamien's newest release, Gran Riserva, is focused on song structure and straight-ahead jazz to add more complexity into their album.

"beast of burden".....rolling stones from the album "some girls" (1978).... :)

Beast Of Burden:....(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

I'll never be your beast of burden

My back is broad but it's a hurting

All I want is for you to make love to me

I'll never be your beast of burden

I've walked for miles my feet are hurting

All I want is for you to make love to me

Am I hard enough

Am I rough enough

Am I rich enough

I'm not too blind to see

I'll never be your beast of burden

So let's go home and draw the curtains

Music on the radio

Come on baby make sweet love to me

Am I hard enough

Am I rough enough

Am I rich enough

I'm not too blind to see

Oh little sister

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, girl

You're a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girl

Pretty, pretty

Such a pretty, pretty, pretty girl

Come on baby please, please, please

I'll tell ya

You can put me out

On the street

Put me out

With no shoes on my feet

But, put me out, put me out

Put me out of misery

Yeah, all your sickness

I can suck it up

Throw it all at me

I can shrug it off

There's one thing baby

That I don't understand

You keep on telling me

I ain't your kind of man

Ain't I rough enough, ooh baby

Ain't I tough enough

Ain't I rich enough, in love enough

Ooh! Ooh! Please

I'll never be your beast of burden

I'll never be your beast of burden

Never, never, never, never, never, never, never be

I don't need no beast of burden

I need no fussing

I need no nursing

Never, never, never, never, never, never, never be......

Water - Peter Molvaer via Salon's audiofile. Peter is a European jazz musician and the music is reminiscent of Mile's Davis's In a Silent Way

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
