Phone Ring Tone Set to Top U.K. Charts

LONDON - A cell-phone ring tone appeared set to top the British singles chart Sunday, outselling the new single by the band Coldplay by nearly four to one, a music retailer said.

"Crazy Frog Axel F," a ring tone based on the sound of a revving Swedish mo-ped, is the first tune being used on mobile phones to cross into mainstream music charts, said Gennaro Castaldo, a spokesman for HMV, the British music retailing chain.

i only know about this frog cause we were trapped in the only breakfast-serving pub in london a few months ago and they had MTV on the screens. the frog's cute but the company is Jamster, directly related to the German firm Jamba and i hate those fucks, two years back they promised they'd pay pet man's air fare to interview him in Berlin and they ended up not. they also rip people off left and right by telling you some of their shit is free and it's not. fuck them and take the little frog w/them.
