New Aussie Football Rules

Speaking of Penises . . . Australian Rules Football Quickly Becoming the "Punch Your Opponent in the Balls" Sport of Choice - Several Aussie rules football (similar to rugby, but more brutal) players  would have been suspended from the AFL for recent attacks on the testicles of opponents had their league's rules not been changed just this season. Apparently, if you admit your guilt it goes on your record but you can continue to play . . . potentially allowing you to crush the nuts of more of your opponents during a game. I'm not sure how scoring in rugby works: how much is the knee to the groin worth? At right, a photo of one of the more recent incidents, with the player on the ground taking a full swing at the guy in the yellow's balls

what they don`t show you is that most of the kicks delivered in that game are to the head.......the aussies allow a lot of latitude if the guilty party is a good player and valuable to the club..it`s very much a case of look the other way....aussie rules is about very big bucks..the same in nz..a top flight rugby player (a new zealand all black) bashed the shit out of his young pregnant missus....got arrested for it.... and promptly had his name suppressed by the judge and was let off so he could play for nz in the rugby world cup......

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
