NFL Draft weekend

The National Football league college player draft is just about to start, and it will be held today (first three rounds) and tomorrow (rounds 4-7). I'd love to see the University of Louisville's Stefan Lefors drafted today, but the NFL views a quarterback who's "only" 6 feet tall as a bad risk. Here's a great human interest story on Lefors, who is an exceptional young man:

Arizona got a steal in the 2nd round with one of there biggest needs RB J.J Arrington from Ok

they also got some other needs filled. Awesome draft for the Cardinals.

To update the first post in this thread, the Carolina Panthers took Stefan Lefors, QB from the University of Louisville, in the 4th round of the draft today. Making it even better, they also drafted our running back, Louis Shelton, yesterday in the second round.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
