Metal fatigue.....

He's the man behind the world's second-biggest thrash band ... which is awkward when you consider Dave Mustaine was booted out of the biggest.

Lars Ulrich could be the most hated person in rock, but few hate Metallica's drummer as much as Megadeth founder-guitarist Dave Mustaine.........

Good story.

I have come to loathe Ulrich outside of any spats he and Mr. Mustaine may have had. I think I've always been a Megadeth fan first. While I enjoyed the band up until their Load album, I never really thought of Ulrich being in the band, it was just "Metallica." I never gave him muich writing credit either.

I guess I really need to see the Metalli-movie. While Dave may have come off whiney, from what I've read thus far, I'm still a fan (and still a Danzig fan too ;)).

I have fond memories of growing up with Megadeth and I think I will always enjoy what Mr. Mustaine does.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
