Develop the ultimate movie

Just for a bit of sport, what if you had to come up with the ultimate movie. Name your director, actor(s) and actress(es). You don't need a script, hell those are of little importance anyway. :D

I'd take:

Director - Steven Speilberg

Lead Actor - Jimmy Stewart

Supporting actors - Robert Deniro, Bruce Willis

Lead Actress - Natalie Portman

Supporting Actresses - Selma Blair, Kiera Knightley ;)

Soundtrack - James Horner

Director - Quentin Tarantino

Actor - Vince Vaughn

Supporting Actors - Baby and Mannie Fresh (how the academy snubbed them for their roles in Baller Blockin' is beyond me)

Actress - Halle Berry

supporting actresses - Angelina Jolie's Lips and all the chicks from Univision (telemundo)

Directors - Quentin Tarantino, Emir Custurica

Actors - Johny Depp, Dimitris Horn

Supporting - Jack Nicholson, Charlie Chaplin, John Malkovich

Actresses - Bjork, Katina Paxinou

Supporting - Jessica Lange, Emmanuelle Beart...

...but naming your favorites is not an easy thing. How about Alfred Hitchcock? Almodovar? Kurosava? DeNiro? Streep? Saranton?...?...?

where to begin? off the top of my very sleepy head:

director: Ethan Coen or Edgar G Ulmer

actor: Harvey Keitel, James Gandolfini, Gary Oldman, Orson Welles

actress: who cares? (Juliette Lewis and Rosanne Arquette maybe)

theme: the 'if only i'd known then what i know now' (irony in retrospect; classic film noir)

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
