still very buggy....but i`ve always been a netscape fan....i like it....should be ok with a lot more refinements.....the netscape/internet explorer rendering engine is quite a neat idea....... :)

I downloaded the pre-beta. That's the one right?

yep......they have a new build every day apparently...i have a build dated feb 17th i downloaded from a german site..there are different beta builds scattered around...really just waiting for the public release due out at the end of this month..so they say.....there is a wealth of info on the sillydog.org forums.....

latest netscape 8.0 public beta out...still a little buggy..but fast..no mail app...a nice little webmail toy though for gmail and stuff...the netscape/IE trident rendering machine seems to work well....still a little rough but i like it..if they keep developing this it could be good..i`ve always liked netscape....and use netscape 7.2 quite a bit.. :)

yeah i tried it, its different and thats for sure, but what makes it faster? is it because they have both rendering engines going at once?

i agree with method i dont think ill ever leave opera

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
