DJ MFR "PLANET DRUM EP" (snippet mix)
Track 1: Night of the Living Drum
Track 2: Drums de Tablao

San Francisco by way of Rome DJ MFR makes his MoreHouse Records debut with the slammin’ 2 track “Planet Drum EP.” He’s created an arsenal of world-influenced beats that are both pulsating and feverish starting off with the Afro / Latin, Flamenco influenced “Drums de Tablao.” Layers and layers of drums sing in unison and build to crescendos as MFR showcases the depth of his production versatility. The drum truly has the power to heal, and provide the opportunity for people of like mind to unite for the attainment of a shared objective - cosmic unity. The deep, afro tinged “Night of the Living Drum” rounds out the EP and completes the circle through which higher spiritual knowledge can be received. Simply put, DJ MFR hits it out the park on both cuts. This is ESSENTIAL!

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
