Coast-to-Coast Toast to Cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- On the eve of Sunday's AFC Championship game, fans across Steelers Nation will take part in a simultaneous toast to the Pittsburgh Steelers and to Pittsburgh in a united show of support and team spirit.

Sports bars, Black & Gold Brigades and fans throughout the country and around the world are being asked to participate in one of the largest simultaneous toasts on record.

The Pittsburgh Convention & Visitors Bureau is supplying a "1-2-3 Guide for a Coast-to-Coast Steelers Toast" to bars, Steelers fan clubs and overseas military to encourage worldwide participation in the Steelers Toast. Everyone is invited to participate.

Cheer up rainbow. It's not like the day Freddy Mercury died. The Steelers have next year. I have the Dallas Cowboys so I have to look 10 yrs into the future before they have a chance.

I may see Elvis before I see them in another Super Bowl. :lol:

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
