The Byrds are arguably America's first rock band, the progenitors of folk/rock and country/rock, and rock's first super group in terms of its musicians--Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, Gene Clark and David Crosby all went on to distinguish themselves in other bands and by themselves. You can preview all their albums and download some great stuff here, including some rare stuff like Dylan's Lay Lady Lay.

very cool find dude........just been listening to the 1970 16 minute live version of " 8 miles high "......great stuff........ :good job:

Hmmm...I sure would like a copy of that  In fact, I think this song would be on my top ten list for best rock songs - it still sounds fresh today, and at the time, broke a lot of new ground. It's the quintessential pschedelic song.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
