Beyond Lonely

Recommended Posts

Crusoe got nothing on me
On my desert island
Where I live
An isolated man
I gave up hope eons ago
Forsaken and damned
Forgotten
An alienated man

Beyond Lonely
Star-crossed and doomed
Godless, soulless
Lost and marooned
Beyond Lonely
Cursed and cast out
Wifeless, friendless
Hated, no doubt

Snowden got nothing on me
In this impoverished void
Where I drift
Like a rogue asteroid
Impotent, sterile and empty
Deserted and banned
Abandoned
An obnoxious Caliban

Beyond Lonely
Star-crossed and doomed
Godless, soulless
Lost and marooned
Beyond Lonely
Cursed and cast out
Wifeless, friendless
Hated, no doubt

Left to die alone
I'm nature's fool
A worn out bag
Of molecules

Beyond Lonely
Star-crossed and doomed
Godless, soulless
Lost and marooned
Beyond Lonely
Cursed and cast out
Wifeless, friendless
Hated, no doubt

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
