1. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR265 - Tactical Groove Orbit – Bleaching It w/ Yreane and Play Moore Remix’s” Who’s ready for the serious business? Kick It is back again and we’re bringing you “Bleaching It” from Tactical Groove Orbit with two awesome remixes from Yreane and Play Moore. Starting things off we have the Original from Tactical Groove Orbit which is a no-nonsense, heads-down, thunderstorm of a choon wasting no time in getting down to the dirty work. Heavy axe samples and the big vocals immediately start building things up and in no time at all it’s a full on perfect storm with tsunami sized low ends and a hail storm of edits. Never letting up from beginning to end like a winter Nor’ Easter, TGO will leave dancefloors devastated with this one. Yreane is first up on remix duties and he shows us why his name has been traveling far and wide in recent times. Crisp drums and tight synth work backed by shouts of “Go” are the first things to hit your ears and it’s not long before the blistering bass takes control of your speakers with little concern for whether you are ready or not. Keeping the overall vibe of the original but taking it to an even harder level if you can believe that, Yreane scores big on this remix. If it's the free business you're after, Play Moore has turned in a top tuna himself and his remix is available for FREE! No stranger to the remix game, Play Moore's more laid back and grooving take on “Bleaching It” properly rounds out the bunch. Big power leads and a wobbling bassline create the perfect combo for a proper crowd rocker. If vocals aren’t you’re thing, this is the remix for you. "Bleaching It" just dropped today on all digital sites so head over to where you get your music and grab a copy of the release for yourself and you cab grab the Play Moore Remix below. 2. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR264 - Kwerk – “Don’t Stop” Ladies and gentlemen have we got a big release for you all today! Kick It Recordings is ramping things up for 2012 and today we have our first release of the year. KIR264 is starting things off right with the return of Kwerk and the one like VovKING bringing us a Massive remix which has already picked up a feature from Track It Down! Kwerk has been garnering support from many a Dj with his crisp beats and tight production and “Don’t Stop” keeps right in line with the rest of his previous releases. Chunky drums and Kwerky stabs set things in motion for this one quickly followed by vocal stabs working their way in. A super short break and then your hit right smack in the face with the wicked bassline that jerks and twerks it’s way through the speakers. Mid way through the tune is a serious build up that will work your crowd into a frenzy before giving em another round of bass and then another big build up to really seal the deal, don’t stop! The one like VovKING has been making serious waves with his unique style and hard edged sound and he turns out a massive remix of “Don’t Stop” which is sure to be hitting the charts! Wasting no time, VovKING gets right down to business with heavy low ends and a meaty beat backed by islandy toms for a bit of funky flavor. The first break features glitchy leads and a cracking snare roll that drops you into the rolling and wobbling bass. The energy in this one is just nuts like VovKING himself and the main breakdown is likely to make you jump before getting right back into it. Don’t sleep on this as it is already speaker tested and floor proven to do the job! Soundcloud Previews Here http://soundcloud.com/kick-it-recordings/kir264-kwerk-dont-stop-w Support From Farace - "Loving this release, VovKING Remix would be my top pick, absolute banger!!" Yreane - " "I'm a big fan of VovKING and this remix is not an exception, great job on the beats and the bass but on this release the original does it for me, Kwerk just kills it! I hope everybody had an awesome Christmas and is enjoying the holidays, we've got a little late Christmas present for you today so hit the download button and turn up your speakers! Today's tuna is a little something different as S&D and Toreba Spacedrift have teamed up to bring you a Broken House remix of Gin Joint's "For Tonight". With his roots in the Swedish hip hop scene, Gin Joints was still in his teens when he started Djing and making music with rappers like Planet Asia, Grand Agent, Movits! and Young Ivy. A few years down the line, Gin Joints has moved on from his first compositions and turned to 80s Funk, Disco and Electro for inspiration. To follow up on his very well received debut solo EP, "Know The Ledge", Gin Joints is introducing a brand new five track EP called "For Tonight". Released via Swedish label and party promoter Discotheque á la Carte, the EP includes three original tracks and two killer remixes of the title track by Neon Workout and Simon Frank. Sneaker & The Dryer & Toreba Spacedrift have joined forces putting together an official remix of "For Tonight" that's available for free to help support the release. Big drums and lots of fillers give this one plenty of funky flavor right from the get go. Heavy synths and Amens keep things interesting as you quickly land in the first break where Gin Joint's vocals start to make their way in. Chopped up beats and loads of edits will keep your feet moving and your head bobbing through the main section and the big leads on the main breakdown add to the drama. Maintaining the feel of the original while putting a whole new twist on it, S&D and Toreba turn out a wicked jammer that pumps from start to finish, grab it for Free! 4. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR263 - Memory Machine “Drive Time EP” Kick It Recordings switches gears for our next release with Memory Machine bringing us his "Drive Time" EP. Just released worldwide today it features four techy tunas that are perfect to drop the top to and let the groove drive with big synths and acid lines. The title track for the EP “Drive Time” starts things off for us with hefty kicks and more LSD influenced synth work than you can shake a stick at. With big acid synths and massive indie style drums this one will hypnotize the crowd into a dirty frenzy! The second track in the EP “Midnight” brings a bit of a darker feel and has a hint of Knight Rider tucked in there to lay down the deep grooves. Third up is “No Reset” which maintains the overall vibe of the first two tracks, but brings in some added sexiness and a dash of Miami big room style! Finishing things off is “Poolside” which goes perfectly with a Pina Colada in one hand and the hand of your lady in the other with its seductive vibe and island tones. Sunrise or sunset, this is the jam. 6. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR262 - Silverfilter “Manila Sound” w/ Remixes by Kwerk, Botbass and Original Primate Returning to Kick It with his first original on the label is the Philippines’ own Silverfilter and he brings us a Techy heads down Breakbeat banger that has a bit of an Electro edge to it. “Manila Sound” pairs big drums with heavy bass and twisted leads that steadily build until you reach the midpoint of the track where things really get busy bringing the energy right through the roof. The main breakdown is short and sweet and accentuates the warped synths for just a moment before getting right back to business. First up on remix duties is the one like Kwerk who gives “Manila Sound” a funky twist and spices it up a bit with some added vocal snips. Super grooving beats as Kwerk is known for are backed by stabs and sweeps to bring you into the first breakdown where the signature lead from the original takes center stage. A quick break and then it’s time for the bass and Kwerk delivers the goods with a grungy and pulsing bassline that will have you moving in no time. Delicious drops and a wicked main breakdown complete the package in proper fashion. Botbass is back again as well and he turns out a slamming Electro House remix of “Manila Sound” that is packed with a plethora of cuts and edits and has bleeps, blips and lasers talking more than a bunch of women when they get together, madness! The tune never lets up the whole way through so if you’re looking for something to hurt some people with, this one is for you. Finishing things off Original Primate team up with Kick It for the first time to bring you’re their wicked Future Jungle remix of Silverfilter’s “Manila Sound”. Taking things in a whole new direction, Original Primate maintain the leads from the original but flip the track around for a 180 with tough and rugged drum work, progressively building synths and a dark and eerie main breakdown instructing you to “Let the music play”! Kick It Recordings Presents KIR259 - Sneaker & The Dryer “Tribute to Jack” w/ Remixes by DJ Exodus & ReepR, Johhny Dangerously and OLMEC Following the wicked success of Karetus’ “Loudness War” Kick It Recordings returns with their first release from Sneaker & The Dryer for KIR259 which just came out TODAY!! Bringing the business in a big way Sneaker & The Dryer light things up with a massive Broken House stormer in “Tribute to Jack”. Paying homage to the recently departed long time activist and author Jack Herer, the S&D boys start things off with heavy kicks and wicked synths leading into the first break which is quickly followed by the rolling Electro bassline and original vox. Wicked edits abound and ravey stabs keep the energy building as you work your way into the main breakdown. Trancey leads and heavily verbed zaps combine with filtered vocals for an epic hands in the air moment before it all comes back in like a freight train with lasers taking ya back, that’s the Real Jack! Peak Hour Music’s Dj Exodus & ReepR are up first on remix duties and they’ve turned in a guaranteed chart topper of the 4/4 kind. Slick beats and pristine production are paired with vocoded vox and a phat bassline complimented by the immense trance leads for a feel good groover with plenty of umph. Keeping things popping, OLMEC returns to Kick It with a massive remix and proves why he is quickly rising to the top of the Electro House charts with his tough and driving yet upbeat version of “Tribute to Jack”. Big time bass and glitched out vocal samples make for a wicked and funky tuna that will keep dancers feet moving straight through to the end. Rounding things out with a proper Breakbeat workout, Johnny Dangerously delivers the goods with his funked up “Kush” mix. Old School flavor meets Nu Skool vibes lighting ya up with talking bass that wobbles like a top gone mad from one too many rips. Big Trance stabs and pitched down vox roll you into the super dubby breakdown halfway through before a final dose of low ends finishes you off. 9. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR251 - Farace Ft. Trevor Rockwell “Feel That Ammunition” Kick It is locked, loaded and back again with another badass release to keep things moving along for 2011. Just last week we dropped our massive 50th release which is doing well on both the Beatport Charts, as well as Track It Down courtesy of Tactical Groove Orbit, and today prepare to duck and cover as Farace brings the firestorm with cover fire provided by Trevor Rockwell on the vocals. "Feel That Ammunition" has been Featured on Track It Down and is set to blowup the charts with a lead synth line that is just plain awesome paired with original lyrics and vox to set it off. The drum work is phenomenal and the grimey low ends add a mean edge to a rugged tuna. The energy in the main breakdown is enormous and will get the crowds hands in the air every time before slamming back in on the bass with authority. First up on remix duties is the one like Wavewhore who brings us a Nu-Skool rendition complete with his signature sound that is already picking up support from the big guys. Punchy breakbeats and a driving bassline give "Feel That Ammunition" a dancefloor friendly but darker side that fits perfectly with the reworked bits from the original. If you've been looking for a proper Tear-out track that will annihilate your audience, this one is for you! Completing the release on a bit more friendly side is Johnny Dangerously with his funky Florida style Reloaded remix. Old school leads and shuffling tops provide for a complete twist from the previous two while maintaining the Hip Hop influence from the original. While you're here, check out the video below and then head on over to your favorite digital site and cop the release for yourself! 10. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR249 - Kwerk EP Yes yes that's right it's new release time and let me say I am stoked about this one. Kick It Recordings is back with KIR249 featuring a four track EP from new comer to the scene and Kick It, Kwerk. Just recently relocated to London, Kwerk steps up big time with his first effort and is already receiving support from many of the top names in Breaks. Kwerk starts us off with "Bassline Punk", a heads down driving tuna complete with wicked leads, throbbing bass, killer vocals and a proper Old School vibe. Second in the EP is "Need You" which is another bassline banger. Ravey synths and rolling lows are combined with a super funky and fun main breakdown giving "Need You" an upbeat edge to balance out the grimey bass. Third in line is the massive "Switch That Bass" and if you like Nu Skool Breaks, there is no way you are not going to get down to this one! Thumping kicks and the switch that bass vox start us off on the right foot. Shuffling hats and a couple of sweeps get us into the short and sweet first breakdown and then it's all about the business and the bassline! Clean and crisp all around, everything about this track says dancefloor rocker. Tons of energy, a funky break and humongous sub-freqs, what more can you ask for. The final piece in the EP is "Light & Dark". Meaty kicks and clappy snares get us bouncing as the acid lead drops in to add the groove. Taking things back a step "Light & Dark" is a proper belter to get a gig started or chill peeps out mid set giving them a moment to breath but keeping them moving all the same. All four of these tracks will rock a crowd so head on over to wherever you buy your digital music and pick up the new Kwerk EP! 11. Kick It Recordings Presents KIR248 - Prato “Set It Off” w/ Remixes by Blastique and Vize Keeping things moving for 2011, Kick It Recordings is back with our third release of the year just out today on all major digital sites. New comer to Kick It, Prato steps up with "Set It Off" for KIR248, a chilled out and melodic track with a funked up breakbeat and Vocoded vox. Grooving low ends and sensual vocals with tantalizing backings keep things rolling straight through to the main breakdown where the vocoder takes main stage letting you know it's time to set it off. Blastique joins Kick It on this one as well with his first remix for the label. Blastique first caught my attention back in 2006 with his wicked tuna "Do It Like Rabbits" and now he turns his attention to Prato's funkster recreating the original feel while adding his own touches. Crisp drums and a thick bassline provide the perfect backing to this quirky and laid back track while Blastique makes excellent use of the vocal bits. Rounding out the release is Vize coming from the Northwest United States and joining Kick It for the first time as well. Turning up the energy, Vize laces in thick kicks with a meaty bassline that introduces itself on the first break. Loads of little stabs and plenty of change ups keep things interesting while the trancey leads maintain the positive vibe. Fun and funky, Vize does an excellent job of making use of original bits while adding his own twist on it. Top stuff all the way around! Just hit the next button on the player to hear the other mixes. Support From Mobius- "Blastique is definitely one to watch and it’s his mix that is my pick here.” Home Alone- "Love This!” TJFX - ”All 3 are very unique, the Vize remix is Hot!” Robin Steal - "Superfunkalicious, loving the laid back grooves on this one!” Beatport https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/337787/Set%20It%20Off Juno http://www.junodownload.com/products/set-it-off/1710267-02/ TID http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/breaks/track/3068238.html
