A lot of my friends used to think that weed was just a drug to get high. Some of them have started to distance themselves from me since I use marijuana. When I decided to tell them that I had cancer and was using marijuana as a medical treatment to get through it mentally, they changed their minds. I was glad when I first came across a legal cannabis store, as I never wanted to deal with anything illegal. In the end, it really helps me to redirect the flow of thoughts in a positive direction, and I understand that first-stage prostate cancer is far from a death sentence. I used to be depressed because of this, but now I will do everything to fight it.
