1. Just in time for Good Friday, Canadian sensation Drake, Lil Wayne hold their own Bar Mitzvah in Drizzy's new video for "HYFR." In the clip Drake is joined by team YMCMB including a masked Lil Wayne who all but destroys the traditional celebration. Drake was two for two this evening simultaneously premiering the Rihanna featured "Take Care" on MTV immediately following "HYFR." The clip opens with footage of a very young Aubrey "Drake" Graham at a friend or relative's Bar Mitzvah years ago. Little Drake says "mazel tov" to camera, and then we cut to the video's introduction, which is printed in white lettering over a black background. "On October 24th 2011 Aubrey 'Drake' Graham chose to get re-Bar Mitzvah'd as a re-commitment to the Jewish religion." We see another few seconds from the archive footage, in which little Drake is busting some moves on the dance floor, looking totally comfortable performing to the camera, before we hear the opening of "HYFR" and cut to Drake dressed to the nines in his freshest bar mitzvah formalwear standing in front of a group of what appear to be his childhood friends — including longtime producer Noah "40" Shebib. The video takes place in three different settings: The first is the opening shot outside the temple, the Bar Mitzvah ceremony inside the temple and the reception after the ceremony. Over the course of the nearly four-minute clip, we watch Drizzy chillin' with his homies all civilized-like, then we see him going through the motions of the Mitzvah, reciting scripture inside the temple with a rabbi, and then we watch everyone wildin' out at the reception with drinks, dancing and talking to ladies. Decorations and cakes are smashed, and Weezy — who is first shown fully clothed, wearing a panda hat/mask — eventually strips down to just his pants. There are also playful assists/cameos made by Trey Songz, Birdman and DJ Khaled. Where "Take Care" has a more voyeuristic, contemporary-art feel, "HYFR" is just one big party that we're all invited to watch. 5. Three of this week's releases have more than a little 90s vibe to them. "Titanic" is back on the big screen, Jason Biggs is doing things that no one really wants to see, and a 90s auteur makes his long-awaited return. The movies also make for some great 90s pairing, so if you're interested in a perfect complement to your weekend of nostalgia, check out this week's Double Feature Friday. "Titanic 3D" & "Tomorrow Never Dies" On December 19, 1997, three new films debuted. One was a minor Gore Verbinski work called "Mouse Hunt" with Nathan Lane and Lee Evans. (How was that not a smash?) The other two were James Cameron's "Titanic" and Pierce Brosnan's second James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies." One went on to become the highest grossing movie of all time. The other faded in with the rest of the 007 cannon, seen largely as lesser than "GoldenEye." But the little known fact is that the two put up quite the fight for the box office that mid-December weekend. "Titanic" eventually edged out Bond by a measly $3 million, so while people are off to the theaters to travel back to 1997, take time to remember the other movie from that weekend. But don't watch "Mouse Hunt." "American Reunion" & "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" High school reunions are one of those social occasions that have comedy built into them. Instead of checking out the class reunion from East Great Falls High, you might consider a less known get together. Two years before the original "American Pie" taught us a very graphic lesson in home culinary skills, Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino starred in the soon-to-be cult classic "Romy & Michele's High School Reunion." It did no business in theaters, but found a serious following on video. It's so dumb that it's kind of brilliant, always odd, and you get to learn all about the origins of the Post-It. Also, keep your eyes peeled for a cameo by a very young Justin Theroux. "Damsels in Distress" & "Metropolitan" Whit Stillman was one of the essential voices of 1990s independent film. It's been nearly 14 years since his last movie, "The Last Days of Disco," so on that merit alone "Damsels in Distress" is worth checking out. If you're looking for a crash course in Stillman, you won't have to watch too much. (He's only made four films.) You should start Stillman's first film "Metropolitan" and go from there. You'll learn all about the New York upper-class and get a refresher course on one of the decade's unique cinematic voices. The actor has put a few good indie films on his resume, one of which was the sobering 2004 drama, "Mean Creek." In the film, Peck plays George, a seemingly cruel boy, who picks the wrong group of kids to mess with. A bully movie in the vein of films like Larry Clark's "Bully," "Mean Creek" turns the table on the mean kid but finds out that things are never that simple. A complex, sad story that is bound to make you think. What are you watching this weekend? 12. The re-release of "Titanic" in 3-D allows a whole new generation to experience the film. Kate Winslet even told MTV News that with the movie back in theaters, her children will see it for the very first time. But what about us veterans? We know the story, we know the characters and no matter how many times we will it, the ending never changes. The ship still sinks, Rose still doesn't try to make room for Jack on that driftwood and Jack still dies in the end. We own it on VHS, DVD and now Blu-ray, not to mention all the times we saw it in theaters when it first came out. So, why trek all the way to a theater and shell out even more money to see it again? Well, we can give you five reasons while we'll be in the theater this weekend sailing away with Jack and Rose on the same doomed voyage. The Iceberg The iconic scene starts with Jack and Rose giddy and laughing on the deck of the ship. The laughter abruptly fades as the crew steering the massive boat can't clear the iceberg fast enough, and thus begins the tragic second half of the movie. The motion picture took our breath away on the big screen in the '90's and we can only imagine how it will look in three dimensions today. Leonard DiCaprio Alright, we know this is more of a Hollywood Crush bullet point, but it has to be said for the ladies out there. As dashing as DiCaprio is now, we will never stop loving the 22-year-old Leo who stole our hearts with his cute, baby face and swooping blond locks. He's just so damn charming. One look and we melt. And for all you guys out there, you know, Winslet looks good, too. The Sets The grandeur of the SMS Titanic is not glanced over in the film. With towering staircases and intricate molding, the filmmakers spared no expense when bringing the ship to life. The 3-D effects will only make the details more stunning and that's worth every penny. The Waves (of Horror) Remember that feeling in the pit of your stomach when the wave of water burst through the doors and threatened to drown Jack and Rose? We can imagine it will make us feel scared for their lives when we feel like the wave is about to wash over us. We can already hear ourselves screaming "Run, Jack. Run!" as we shield our faces for the watery embrace. It will never come, of course, but haven't you already noticed we're a little bit dramatic? The Nostalgia Even though we own it on every conceivable movie watching device out there, "Titanic" got pushed to the wayside with films like "Thor," "Inception" and "The Dark Knight" filling our screen on Saturday nights in. Instead of digging through our large collection of movies, it's worth it to grab a few friends and head out to the theater. For old time's sake. Yeah, we're a bunch of saps. Are you planning on seeing "Titanic" in 3-D this weekend? Did you already see it? Was it worth it? 14. Let me make a statement that, like a penis penetrating a warm apple pie, is anything but subtle and also kind of surprising: "American Reunion" is the best installment of this raunchy franchise since the 1999 original. Is this something of a backhanded compliment, considering the second film was a letdown, the third was unwatchable, and the subsequent direct-to-DVD flicks simply went unwatched? Sure. "Reunion," nonetheless, has some damn funny moments. Those moments are too often broken up with stretches of needless character development and stilted acting (try taking Tara Reid seriously at this point — I dare you), but when writer/directors Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg dial into what made the original such a hoot, "American Reunion" delivers the belly laugh-inducing goods. Here are five reasons to check it out this weekend. The Gang Is Back Together It's been over a decade since Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott were downing beers and ogling breasts alongside Chris Klein. For those counting along at home, 3,892 days have passed since Reid last tantalized Thomas Ian Nicholas with her version of droopy-lidded sensuality. "Reunion," as the title helpfully implies, brings the whole crew back together, and ya know what? We missed 'em. "Celebrity Dance-Off" Speaking of things we missed, welcome back Oz! Klein's particular comedic gifts, such as they are, remain perfectly suited to playing the soft-hearted jock. This time around, he's a hotshot sports-news anchor who became a household name on a "Dancing with the Stars" knockoff known to adoring fans as the "Dance-Off." Midway through the film, we get an extended and quite amusing look at the show — Oz's shameless pop-and-lock moves and the emcee stylings of Neil Patrick Harris. As we've learned from the "Harold & Kumar" trilogy, a little NPH in our cinematic lives is a very, very good thing. The Cameos NPH isn't the only familiar face to pop up briefly in "Reunion." We forgot Harold himself — otherwise known as John Cho — was a three-time "Pie" franchise player until he appeared toward the end of the movie, haunted by his days as a MILF-loving screwball. We can't say we missed the Sherminator, but he's back too. At least Natasha Lyonne returns as well. And lest you think Shannon Elizabeth's sexpot Euro gal is nowhere to be seen, Hurwitz and Schlossberg make sure to sneak her into the mix in a clever way. Eugene Levy, Dog The man with the funniest eyebrows in Hollywood history is the best. The. Best. We'll pause here, briefly, to consider his killer turns in "Splash," "Armed and Dangerous" and Christopher Guest's mockumentaries. Ahhh, good stuff. In "Reunion," Levy gets to flex more comedic muscle than he has at any point in the "Pie" series. When Levy tokes up a J and starts to put the moves on Stifler's mom, we got a contact high. Jason Biggs' Ween Honestly, I'm adding this one in only because my colleague, Josh Wigler, asked me to, which says as much about his A-plus editorial judgment as it does about his admirable sense of (bathroom) humor. We won't spoil the reveal, as it were, but Biggs doffs his trousers at one point and displays his manhood to the world. Ballsy, Mr. Biggs, ballsy. Are you seeing "American Reunion" this weekend? 17. Nearly two years ago the U.S. District Court of California issued a permanent injunction against BitTorrent search engine isoHunt. The Court ordered the owner of isoHunt to start censoring the site’s search engine based on a list of thousands of keywords provided by the MPAA, or cease its operations entirely in the US. “I find it absurd that we are required to keyword filter which ironically all search engines in countries like China are required to do due to political censorship, but isoHunt would be the only search engine serving traffic to US users required to do similar filtering,” isoHunt owner Gary Fung wrote to the court in a response. Hoping to get the decision overturned isoHunt filed an appeal, which is still ongoing, but in the meantime it saw no other option than to comply. The filter was implemented and has since prevented a list of film-related phrases from showing up in the search results. But not without collateral damage. Besides blocking links to Hollywood blockbusters, the MPAA’s filter is also preventing public domain works and authorized content from being accessed. Filmmaker Brian Taylor is one of the independent artists whose work is falsely censored by the MPAA filter. Last week his small film production firm En Queue Film released a 18 minute horror short titled “the Bite.” In addition to putting it on video streaming sites Taylor also thought it would be a good idea to put it on isoHunt. “I got it going, had downloads start from the US and Europe almost immediately, which made me a very happy guy,” Taylor told TorrentFreak. However, this enthusiasm faded quickly when he tried to access the torrent from a US connection a day later. Instead of a link to the torrent file the filmmaker was welcomed with the following message. “Torrent has been censored, as required by US court.” Blocked torrent Needless to say Taylor was shocked to see the work that he owns 100% being censored. The whole idea was to share it with a wide audience, including people from the US. “Some of us aren’t stealing movies from torrent sites, some of us are offering original material,” Taylor told TorrentFreak. “My original material being blocked in the US hurts my chances of: being discovered, making money, making more art. Not to mention the fact that Americans miss out on “the Bite,” the most original realistic short horror film ever made.” Unfortunately, this takedown is not an isolated incident. Another good example is this torrent with thousands of songs from the 1930′s, that are all believed to be in the public domain. While the content is completely unrelated to any motion pictures, the MPAA filter prevents US visitors form accessing it. We asked isoHunt to look into the issue and we were told that an unfortunate combination of keywords in the file names is to blame. “We’ve found that it was a TV title that censored it,” Gary Fung told TorrentFreak, adding that these false positives are quite common. “There are thousands of titles the MPAA sent that we are forced by the US court injunction to censor our index against, and these are but two tangible examples of non-infringing content that is falsely censored,” he added. As isoHunt has pointed out to the court before, this false censorship based on a filter which includes many dictionary words, is clearly hindering freedom of speech. This is one of the main reasons why the BitTorrent search engine continues to fight the filter requirement in court. 18. by Ryan Downey Chris Klein may have skipped "American Wedding" but he put his entire body on the line for "American Reunion." The fourth theatrically released film in the "American Pie" series finds his character (Oz) a minor celebrity forced to endure the humiliations of a "Dancing with the Stars" type TV show. Chris told MTV News he was very game for the number of comedic dance routines, so much so, he even injured his right knee. "I've got stunts, I bring the stunts," he said. When the "Harold & Kumar" writer / director team of Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg approached him about all of the dancing in "Reunion," he was quick to show them what he's got. He did the same for MTV in the video below. "They said, 'listen, do you have moves?' And I said I do have moves," he said. "And then you throw the 'spears.' You've got to throw the spears, man. Then pop. And a little vogue. Pop and lock, vogue, pop and lock, you know? And then my all time favorite: you've got to back it up. Face it, boom!" In the film, Oz is constantly pushed around by Mia ("30 Rock"'s Katrina Bowden) who cheats on him but champions his B-list celebrity endeavors at the same time. While visiting his hometown and meeting up with the old gang (there's a throwaway line where he apologizes for missing the "Wedding"), Oz starts to wonder whether or not he should have ended up with Heather (Mena Suvari) instead. During one scene in "Reunion," the rest of the gang and several partygoers watch a video of Oz's embarrassing defeat on the dance show. There's no mistaking the fact that Klein gave it his all on screen, in an athletic performance that displays the killer physique the actor has maintained. "[Jon and Hayden] were like, 'What do you think?' I said, 'Let's give it a shot and let's see what happens.' I got together with a couple of choreographers who did a beautiful job. I tried. I gave it my best 'White Men Can't Dance' and did the thing. We had a really good time with it." As fun as the whole experience was, it wasn't without its consequences. "I'm a 32 year old man. We're not allowed to actually do moves like that. Even if we could, it's an unwritten rule, like, when you're past 30. I tore my meniscus in my right knee trying to do a kick up! I obviously can't do it. I mean, I almost broke my leg!" For all of the comedic dancing that ended up on screen, Klein assured us that there's plenty more that hit the cutting room floor. He's hopeful that the DVD / Blu-Ray releases of "American Reunion" will allow more of the footage to see the light of day. "Hopefully there will be some of the outtakes on the DVD, because it was really quite a day putting that together. We had a good time." "American Reunion" is in theaters today. 20. Filming for the 23rd adventure of a little-known super spy named James Bond is currently underway outside of London, and we are about as excited as you can be. MTV News visited the set of "Skyfall," which you'll see a lot from in the near future, but first, Entertainment Tonight has their report from Pinewood studios, where they spoke with Mr. Bond himself, Daniel Craig, as well as his nemesis, Javier Bardem, and a possible love interest, Berenice Barlohe. ET was on a soundstage that had been built to look uncannily like a London tube stop. Craig seems to be chasing someone through the underground to no avail. The star wasn't so keen to open up about the specifics of the film with ET, but he did assure them that the old Bond staples would certainly be there. "That was one of the keys with this film for us," Craig said. "There are those lines that we have to have in there, and we've got them and we have all that going on, but we wanted to reinvent a few as well." Bardem had to remain even more tight-lipped since we know almost nothing about his character, the villain, Silva. He wouldn't even say for sure whether he thought this newest Bond villain was a good one. "I don't know if he's a good villain," Bardem said. "At least when we were doing it, we felt that it was fun to do and also kind of intense." Be sure to check back here very soon when MTV News shares the goods from our visit to the "Skyfall" set. 22. By Sowmya Krishnamurthy Kanye West released “Mercy,” the first song from the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music album featuring Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz last night. Featuring a lot of tough talk and braggadocio from each of the rappers, over a dark, haunting Lifted-produced beat, Kanye’s verse has been getting perhaps the most buzz. With the movie theme to "Scarface" playing ominously, Ye unleashes in a bout of aggression. “I step in the Def Jam building like I'm the s--t/Tell them give me $50 million or I'm going to quit,” he blasts at his record label. “Something about Mary, she gone off that molly/Now the whole party is melted like Dali/Now everybody is moving their body,” he raps, referencing artist Salvador Dali as well as “molly,” the street term for ecstasy which recently caused Madonna a bit of controversy with Deadmau5. As the track leaked from radio to the internet, hip-hop aficionados shared their penchant on Twitter. “the internet just went tilt/crashed on this song,” one shared while another succinctly put it, “Kanye is a Demigod.” This is the second buzzy song Kanye has dropped this week. Earlier he released “Theraflu,” which featured head-turning references to his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose along with reality star Kim Kardashian, who many speculate is dating West. DJ Khaled, who is featured on the track, told MTV that the song was supposed to be for his album but Kanye wanted to expedite the release. “'Ye was just like, 'This needs to be out now; this is an urgent record.'
