Most of what I've played with is in a step sequence format. Much like a drum machine. I like the software, but some of the human element is hard to get into it. You can't quite hit half steps and off beats the way I'd like to.

Starbuck's is the Walmart of coffee. On a trip to Seattle a couple of years ago, my wife and I caught the monorail from the City Center to the mall. On the ground floor there is a Starbuck's stand. It's about 25 feet from the door. You walk out the door, and another 25 feet from it........... a starbucks shop! In seattle there is quite literally "a starbucks on every corner"... and then some! Bah!

If they program them to cook and clean, I'm getting a divorce.

I love the new downset disc. Downset is the only band that I have purchased music from in the last five years. Makes for real limited selection. It's a matter of taste though. I happen to like the combo of thrashy metal and rap style delivery. Not for everyone... but... I love it. Edit: Lol, misread.... thought you said "How's that new downset album"... But yeah. About three months ago they released a new one called Universal. I pulled this off their website, and figured why the hell not represent for the set. They are known, but not that well.

The key to getting action in the movie theatre? Make sure BEFORE you go, that the movie sucks... completly...

:poop: I had a short subscription to spin magazine at one time. I swear that every writer and editor on that magazine spent time as a backstage BJ groupie for Radiohead. EVERY FUCKING ISSUE they would find some way to talk about how great Radiohead was. I like ONE of their songs.... other people may like them.... I just don't see why.

I don't know...... worked in a grocery store in the "bad" part of town for the past 8 years. I have come to the conclusion we should no longer prosocute shoplifters when caught. We should follow them out of the store, and beat them to a bloody pulp, take our product back, and leave them bleeding. I think it would be more productive: "dude, let's go steal some beer" "nah, if we get caught, they will issue us a ticket we will never pay" vs. "dude, let's go steal some beer" "No way, it took sixteen stitches to close me up last time, and my nose will never be straight again."

Oooh, but open source is for "amatuers", M$ has the industry leaders...

This would fit a discussion I had at work the other night. We were talking about software protection etc. This guy I work with was raving about how great microsoft products are, how superior intel chips are, pretty much being a mass media whore. I was trying to explain, that while the big boys have the "top guys" in the industry, the other side of the coin includes a far greater number of people who pool their knowledge and desired outcomes together, and remain one step ahead of the "good guys".
