  1. No, it's because they're being raped by unchecked capitalism and exploitation by oppressive and inept governments. Fuck you Jackie Chan.
  2. The only remote security risk with this one is that you could have a malicious program that is taking screenshots and instead of seeing **** it will see what you're typing. On the other hand, a program that logs keystrokes is probably a better bet if you've been victimized.

    Ooops.

But they usually are able to divide news between Health, Sports, Science, etc... How news like that ended up in an Entertainment category should cause Google to examine their processes and fine tune things a bit more. They'll work it out.

    Ooops.

No they don't method, and that's a real problem these days. We need bot counseling, maybe even in groups.
  5. Ken

    Ooops.

Google sure knows how to entertain.
  6. Ah, don't feel bad Koop, you'll be able to buy barrels Oil from Exxon Mobil over the Internet now! Also, if you have a construction problem you need to have taken care of, the new Haliburton website will be accepting orders!!!!
  7. Another important factor is the growing indifference to religious beliefs that had stronger influence in the past. They placed constraints on many behaviors, not just sexual. Yes, spirituality is still as strong as ever, but it doesn't control lives as much. Interpretations are now more open and all rules are not adopted. Concerning the whole scope of the article, I wonder, with the growing trend in short lived marriages (10 years or less), and the decline in marriage rates (coupled with non-married but joined people and non-committed), how will future families look? Should be interesting from an observational standpoint, and should be an emotional battle for those with a strong, non objective stance.
  8. She's a shitty manufactured "artist" with no talent.
  9. He could be governor of Texas; that's about it.
  10. Someone has to be the pawn in the marketing game of the RIAA. I'm sure they could find millions like him. He probably just won a lottery or knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy. Lucky him. Too bad he's a tool, regardless of how much money he has. I don't envy him and his wealth doesn't impress me.
  11. I don't get it. You posted this on the 29th Dude, and the offer has already expired. I guess I'll have to pirate it instead out of spite.
  12. I agree. The worst part of 99% of all politicians is you don't know how they really feel, how they really think, or what they really want to do. You can get any idea according to their actions, but that's only if they're not careful enough to conceal it. Dishonesty. The bane of humanity.
  13. Prices shouldn't vary by popularity; they should be a flat price. Currently, all prices are too high, especially for digital music with no tangible case or artwork and with bullshit restrictions. I’d never use any pay service currently in place.
  14. The Chinese government needs to be removed from power and a government that lets its people speak and think as they please needs to be put in place. I can’t see how anyone could possibly side with a government that does not allow freedom of speech or expression.
  15. Notice that all the "annoying" music is top 40 pop/R&B bullshit. This begs a question, how does something become tops on some popularity chart when a lot of people find it so annoying to listen to? It's because the industry controls the chart's make-up, and it's not about good music and real opinion.
  16. Not suprising. As for security though, nobody should speak too soon. As we have seen with FireFox, nothing is completely "secure". All software has bugs and exploits, and the more popular Opera gets, the more attention it will receive.
  17. Well, that does it for TiVo. They have betrayed their customers.
  18. Right. Actually, the sole purpose is really to violate Godwin's Law, which is fun.
  19. I don't know, but all indicators are that they are trying to flee or at least relocating everything tangible to somewhere out of reach.
  20. That sounds more like an advertisement. "Safest browser"? By whose standards? "Fastest"? By whose benchmarks? By my benchmark, IE opened faster than Mozilla and Opera, and we all know I'm not an IE fanboy. Obviously they aren't, or else I wouldn't have to press three keys to launch a tab without the mouse. Opera has the potential to be so much more, but simple GUI improvements are needed.
  21. Actually, they really need help. Microsoft are not innovators. They copy ideas, tweak them, and then sell them for $500. Either that or they hopelessly try to compete with a company like Google in the Internet search wars. It's funny to watch actually.
  22. Really? I would think it's obvious. The RIAA won in court and are now trying to eradicate everything they can. The oldest and more popular P2P programs (with regards to name) are being targeted. WinMX, and all the popular Gnutella clients. Anything that is within striking distance legally of the RIAA. WinMX is fleeing.
