At long last, Welding Twitter gets its moment in the sun
Did you know Welding Twitter was a thing? Until recently I did not, but now I can imagine nothing lovelier than looking at a series of good welds.
The welders' much-deserved moment in the sun came last Friday. Twitter user @hotmessmaness, whose real name is Kasey, tweeted about the bad (male) welders she sees online.
"Guys weld like this and have 'welder' in their bio," she wrote.
SEE ALSO: Dr. Bronner's is the only good brand on Twitter
Fortunately, it was the good welders, not the bad welders, who noticed Kasey's complaint. The replies to her tweet are now full of clean and smooth welds, as well as people complimenting each other on their welds.  Read more...

Rising act Patrik has come through with a new GoldSoul-produced track "SRRYINADVNCE." According to Patrik, he's been holding onto the song for "a year now" and we're so pleased he's finally dropped it off since it's a smooth, catchy beat that compliments Patrik's cadence.
The lyrical content seemingly touches on Patrik's moves of constantly grinding to get where he is and understanding that a higher power's got his back.  "Never worry got a plan, when the plans not the plan, know the Lord's got a hand so I'm sorry in advance," he spits.
We can't say for sure whether the song's coming off an upcoming tape by Patrik, but considering he just dropped off his album Spadina before the new year, both projects will hold us over until we get some new tunes from the Montreal based artist.
Listen to the new-new and let us know what you think in the comments.

R. Kelly was thrown into a cell after he failed to pay his ex-wife, Drea Kelly the $161,000 he owed her in child support. The "Ignition" singer pleaded with a judge to get the payment lowered, but his efforts didn't pull through. R. Kelly even revealed how much he had in his bank account, that was only $350K from the previous $150 million he was once worth.
"How can I pay child support?" asked R. Kelly during his dramatic interview with Gayle King. "How? If my ex-wife is destroying my name and I can’t work. How can I work? How can I get paid? How can I take care of my kids? How?"
TMZ now reports that Kelly has been released from jail after pulling some strings from a "benefactor" to round up the $160K for his ex-wife. The publication details how he was released this morning from Cook County Jail.

According to Drea, the payments were held back as a way to control her after she spoke out about his abusive behavior. Sometimes Kelly would only make partial payments, sometimes full payments but mostly he wouldn't send over any money at all.

Ariana Grande and Starbucks recently teamed up for a surprise collaboration announcing a Cloud Macchiato. The drink can be ordered hot or cold and has two variations, the Caramel Cloud Macchiato and the Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato. While mnay Ariana Grande fans were excited about drinking a beverage so close to the star, others have called her out since the supposed vegan drink, isn't really vegan at all.
“I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding. But I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based, whole food diet that can expand your life length and make you an all-round happier person," the "God Is A Woman" previously stated about her choice to not eat animal byproducts. "It is tricky dining out, but I just stick to what I know – veggies, fruit and salad – then when I get home I’ll have something else.”
A fan commented on Starbuck's promotion of the drink, asking if it can be ordered in vegan but received a response they never expected. "Sorry, no. The cloud powder cold foam contains egg and milk and the sauce contains dairy," the coffee house responded.
Ariana hasn't responded to the backlash over her drink, but we think the obvious move here is to just opt out of the Cloud foam and the sauce.

Today is International Women's Day and among all the female shoutouts and love shown to all the wonderful women around the world, Ariana Grande has dropped off a video in light of the special day that sees her embracing all aspects of herself, letting it be known that she's "not asking for it."
The one-minute clip sees the "7 Rings" singer flicking her hair, and changing poses in a nude onesie while different describing words such as sexual, female, divine, hard, soft, gentle, pop up on the screen. More than once the term "not asking for it" makes a necessary appearance.
"We made this for the dwt and you’ve been asking for it since," she wrote on Twitter. "Happy international women’s day every day to women of every color, shape, size, sexuality, age, religion, trans, cis, and all who identify ! u are everything and i’m proud of u everyday."
Ariana previously had a Twitter dispute with Piers Morgan (they are now on good terms) after he once told Little Mix to "put some clothes on" after they shared a tastefully nude magazine cover.
"I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it’s OUR choice. & we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next," she wrote to Pierce.
