Blues Baby

She sings "Sweet Home Chicago"
Like she really means it
And though she's never been there
You'd swear she was from that city
Reaching down in her soul
She feels her own pain
You know this natural woman
Has seen fire and rain

Blues Baby
She really belts it out
Blues Baby
Knows what the blues are about
Blues Baby
She's feeling every note
Blues Baby
Living the songs we wrote

She's got Georgia on her mind
Loves to hear those guitars
Loves to hear those saxophones
Coming from those Bourbon Street bars
He left her high and dry
That no good man
She's raising their two kids
Doing the best she can

Blues Baby
She really belts it out
Blues Baby
Knows what the blues are about
Blues Baby
She's feeling every note
Blues Baby
Living the songs we wrote

She sings it low, sings it loud
Etta James would be proud

guitar

Blues Baby
She really belts it out
Blues Baby
Knows what the blues are about
Blues Baby
She's feeling every note
Blues Baby
Living the songs we wrote

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
