U2 - Vertigo

This song has been absolutely everywhere.

The attempt to jam this down every human being's throat (who own a television) has infuriated me to no end. I hate this song.

I can't even watch Football (about the only thing I watch on TV anymore, besides the Weather Channel), without hearing this annoying garbage during the commercial (I try to hit mute, but I get to hear the asshole count in Spanish before I can hit the button).

Hey, I got an idea, let's make part of the song just repeatedly say "yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, so Ken goes insane and kills Bono with his bare hands!".

You marketing mother fuckers. I'll kill you, i'll kill you all.

U2 made some good songs.................back in the 80s that is.

This reminds me of my eminem thread. I feel the same way. Everywhere I go, I hear this annoying little shit rap. I hate him and all those bad wannabes.

At least U2 have a 25 year carrer behind them and they are good

Just now, while watching South Park on Comedy Central, that damn commericial hit me like a sack of concrete.

I couldn't get to the volume control fast enough and ended up shitting my pants. My cat also had a stroke.

Damn you U2, you'll be getting the medical bills.

Don't be so cruel judging a group just because they became super famous. They released excellent music after that. Achtung Baby and especially 'One' is one of the best rock ballads ever. Joshua Tree? What about that? Other stuff too.

This album is really really good but you got sick of Vertigo

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
