Jag Panzer:

This American power metal band has been kicking ass since the early 1980's. With no less than seven releases to date, this Colorado-based quintet features Harry Conklin on vocals, Mark Briody and Chris Broderick on guitars, John Tetley on bass, and Rikard Stjernquist on drums.

Jag Panzer is a very down-to-earth band who enjoy meeting and interacting with their fans. Guitarist Mark Briody is active on several metal-related forums.

Mark was kind enough to provide links to two new songs from their upcoming CD titled "Casting The Stones".

The songs are:

Battered & Bruised

and

Legion Immortal

There are links to other great songs in the Audo section of the Jag Panzer website. Check out Black from "The Fourth Judgement" (one of my favorites), The Moors from "The Age Of Mastery" and King At A Price from "Thane to the Throne". By the way, "Thane" is a concept album based on Shakespeare's MacBeth.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
