Nick Cannon stepped down from his morning radio show on 92.3 as a result of his health issues and now the entertainment mogul is shedding light on his situation in a new video documentary series titled “NCredible Health Hustle” which aired on Monday (April 2).

Cannon was hospitalized on January 4, 2012 after falling victim to mild kidney failure and a little over a month later he was hospitalized for blood clots in his lungs. On March 5 Cannon publicly stated he was diagnosed with lupus nephritis, an autoimmune disease that is the cause of his kidney problems.

The first episode of “NCredible Health Hustle,” found Cannon’s wife Mariah Carey holding one of their infant twins as he narrated how his life has changed since the health scares. The premiere episode also follows Cannon as he makes another hospital visit, where he is captured on camera connected to an IV discussing symptoms of his edema with his doctor.

The episode chronicles his new dietary regimen, in addition to other pivotal changes in his life. The entire series will show his travels between seeing his family and hosting “America’s Got Talent” and even captures the moment when he makes the decision to leave his New York Radio show.
