Nero have had an unbelievable rise to stardom. Starting as friends, setting up a studio together Dan and Joe, shared one of those special eureka moments on fabric's dance floor, where their vision and shared ideas crystallised to set them on path to great things. They can now tick off achievements such as No.1 singles, No.1 Album, Nominated for the BBC sound of 2011, Numerous Hottest records in the world and then composing their own classical Dubstep Symphony.

Genuine musicians and some of the nicest guys in electronic music we could not be more excited to welcome them to Electric Brixton on host their own special after show party. Earlier that night they'll be playing one of the biggest shows of the career so far, their own headline, sold out Brixton Academy show. They've chosen to invite a select few friends and DJs to come and celebrate with them later that night.

Nero will headline with one of their incendiary DJ sets MTA label mates Delta Heavy and Chasing Shadows join in the fun, both of who've been hot as hell recently - Chasing Shadows bring their KillSonik show to the electric for the first time. Last but not least Millions Like Us who are in great form, with remixes for Calvin harris and Hurts, they're certainly not just here to make up the numbers.numbers.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
