Heavy Metal (Takin' a Ride) by don felder from the 1981 movie " heavy metal "......

Heavy Metal (Takin' a Ride)
(Don W. Felder)
© 1981 Fingers Music (ASCAP)

Fire it on up and let's cruise a while,
Leave your troubles far behind.

You can hedge your bet on a clean Corvette,
To get you there right on time.

Now if you're ready to dive into overdrive,
Baby the green lights are on.

It's like you're running your brain on some high octane,
Every time she reaches fully blown.

Won't you take that ride ride ride ride, on Heavy Metal?
It's the only way that you can travel down that road.
Satisfied fied fied fied, on heavy metal,
Baby won't you ride, ride it until it explodes.

Heavy Metal!

My oh my, how this lady can fly,
Once she starts rollin' beneath you.

You know you just can't lose,
The way she moves,
You wait for her to finally release you.

It's not a big surprise to feel your temperature rise,
You've got a touch of redline fever.

'Cause there is just one cure that they know for sure,
You just become a heavy metal believer.

Won't you take that ride ride ride ride on heavy metal?
It's the only way that you can travel down that road.
Satisfied fied fied fied, on heavy metal,
Baby won't you ride, ride it until it explodes.

Good one. You've reminded me of "Little Green Bag" from the beginning of Reservoir Dogs.

My favorite hands down is Secret Garden by Bruce Springsteen. it was from Jerry Maguire and if you get the right copy of it, they have the quotes from the movie placed into the song at the perfect time.

Danger Zone was mentioned also, I think it was really well played in Top Gun, as was Take My Breath Away. In fact, it seemed like a lot of 80s movies played off the soundtrack really well like In Your Eyes by Peter Gaberiel from the movie Say Anything (Where John Cusack held up the radio outside of the girl's window).

I know this song wasn't written for the soundtrack, but if you get a chance to find this, download it. It's Billie Meyers - Kiss The Rain from Chasing Amy. If you get the Chasing Amy remix, it blends in with the Ben Affleck speech inside the car about how much he loves Joey Lauren Adams. It's a frigging nice blending between words and vocals.

"There She Goes" from I Married an Axe Murderer
and
"A Case of You" (Joni Mitchell) from Practical Magic :D

Joni Mitchell---A Case Of You

Just before our love got lost you said, "
I am as constant as a northern star."
And I said, "Constantly in the darkness
Where's that at?
If you want me I'll be in the bar."
On the back of a cartoon coaster
In the blue TV screen light
I drew a map of Canada
Oh Canada
With your face sketched on it twice
Oh, you're in my blood like holy wine
You taste so bitter and so sweet
Oh I could drink a case of you, darling
And I would still be on my feet
Oh I would still be on my feet

Oh I am a lonely painter
I live in a box of paints
I'm frightened by the devil
And I'm drawn to those ones that ain't afraid
I remember that time you told me, you said, "
Love is touching souls"
Surely you touched mine
'Cause part of you pours out of me
In these lines from time to time
Oh, you're in my blood like holy wine
You taste so bitter and so sweet
Oh I could drink a case of you, darling
Still, I'd be on my feet
I would still be on my feet

I met a woman
She had a mouth like yours
She knew your life
She knew your devils and your deeds
And she said, "
Go to him, stay with him if you can
But be prepared to bleed"
Oh but you are in my blood
You're my holy wine
You're so bitter, bitter and so sweet
Oh, I could drink a case of you, darling
Still I'd be on my feet
I would still be on my feet

I Believe - Yolanda Adams (Soundtrack to Honey)
People are Strange - Doors (Lost Boys)

There are others buried in my head, but I need time to sort through the mess :scratchin: .
"Evolution is nothing more than an organism struggling towards happiness by adapting to every new kind of pain. The Quantum leap occurs when nature blossoms up a part of itself, which can learn to manipulate evolution consciously. As she has placed parts of herself in sacred plants, as an accelerator pad to speed up our evolution, so she has placed us within herself as an accelerator pad to speed up her own. (Sacred plants + A consciousness who understands chemistry) = Faster pads, and (Part + Part)< Whole, So (Evolution + Consciousness) = probably the emergence of meta-consciousness, nature moving higher to full consciousness of itself, but all really, really, fAST. A bit like that camel, Sarge."

Twat the Mashed
"He who was once known to make sense, but then only cryptically".
