Just wanted to announce two bands that a friend of mine introduced me to today. One is called Lacuna Coil and the other is called In Flames.
Lacuna Coil is a band whose voices will mellow you out. The way the band is, they remind you of Evanescence. The female vocalist's voice is powerful and soothing at the same time. Two recommended songs include "Heaven's A Lie" and "Angel's Punishment." Homepage: http://www.lacunacoil.it/
In Flames is more of a harder metal band. They have a great guitarist and if you like hard metal, I would recommend giving this band a chance and a listen. A recommended song is "Zombie Inc." Homepage: http://www.inflames.com/

I enjoy both of these bands. I heard music from Lacuna Coil before the "Heaven's a Lie" song came out. Good stuff. Although "HAL" is a bit commercial sounding, I enjoy it and really dig the singer's voice.
In Flames has received regular rotation on KNAC.com (along with LC). They are pretty brutal and do not disappoint. Good find BF!

I don't personally like listening to In Flames' cds, but they are damn good live.
Lacuna Coil is kinda ok for me.
They have more eye candy value though. ;)
