the previous regimes did too. egypt is strategic to the Middle East because they reached an agreement with Israel.

Mubarak was originally, and still might be closer to Russia than us

I better not touch that one. I have been trying to avoid a serious discussion about politics on music sites....

It would be more accurate to say we live in Corpocracy, or Plutocracy, kiwi .... not much that Obama can do about that, sadly. He's right that we should invest in education and our infrastructure. And he was right about Health Care. We should also break up all the oligopolies -- then we would have more competition and more jobs.

As for the Republicans, they haven't brought one new idea to this country in 30 years. It's always the same mantra -- cut taxes, cut our debt, spend more on the military, and above all, pledge allegiance to our corporate masters Posted Image
