Posted ImageGuru, the leader of  Gang Starr and the Jazzmatazz project, is in a coma after suffering a heart attack Sunday (February 28). The 43-year-old rapper is set to undergo surgery today (March 1). 

Guru’s Gang Starr partner DJ Premier confirmed the MC’s condition in a call to satellite radio program Hip Hop Nation, the  Guardian reports.
