Swedish ABBA was the world's biggest band in the 1970s. Many people do not realize this. But ABBA recorded 110 songs in English 1972-1982. The had 9 number ones in the U.K. To date, they have sold 370 million records and CDs.
"Knowing Me, Knowing You" is an ABBA tribute band in Nashville. I saw them perfom last Friday night. They were great. They did 20 of ABBA's most energetic hits.

Abba was one Hell of a record selling machine worldwide.

ABBA has been nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2010. They will be inducted this time.
