Rick Springfield is an Australian-American songwriter, musician and actor. "Jessie's Girl" was a number one song in 1981. It went on to win a Grammy, and according to Wikipedia, "helped establish the emerging music video age"

It wasn't bad for its time. Musically.

Style-wise, not so sure.

I don't have this track or any of his albums. I don't do 80s very much but I would have bet money that I had some of his albums. I see them on the net.
