I have been using Soulseek for over 2 years now and also
have a room there called the ROCKON CAFE !!, alot of old AG users are there
and we love the site its more based on communties and rooms and most share
by list only there ...alot of music on soulseek and some great people and in
my personally opion the best damn p2p site out there for music and friends

I couldn't believe the freakin runaround I had to go through to find a clean, free copy of K-lite out there when I switched from the old clunker emachine to this little vaio last month. I use KZ but rarely nowadays (it's good for finding music that one hears in the background of a TV commercial, lol), but I must have gone to at least 20 of those sites you listed off Ken, before I found it at http://www.downloads.../2003/klite.zip
There's a little BeatKing room on SoulSeek as well--some of us have a good time in there playing slow-motion chat. I'll have to drop into the Cafe, dvd. It sounds like a cool spot. I'll be under my demonic alias...
A quick question--is the RIAA busting balls on soulseek? I was under the impression that most of the busts have come from KaZaa.

I haven't heard of any lawsuits being leveled at anyone, based upon copyright infringement with SoulSeek. I could be wrong though.
As for the RIAA, they're not going to limit themselves to the fasttrack network, and nor do their stubborn, greedy asses want to be pegged as only being interested in fasttrack.
They could very well be monitoring SoulSeek. Who knows?

I know BayTSP monitors Soulseek because I've had connections blocked by them by Peerguardian while I was sharing content on Soulseek.
