Okay, we all know I am a big ABBA fan. But this is one of the premier groups in music history. Mamma Mia! (the movie) will be in theaters in July, 2008, and the ABBA Museum will open in Stockholm in the spring of 2009.

I love ABBA too. My favorite is "Dancing Queen." I don't know why, but that song makes me want to cry everytime I hear it. It somehow hints at the preciousness of youth -- and it is as fresh to me nowadays as it was back in the day.

I sang Karaoke in Nashville last night. A girl got up and sang Money Money Money by ABBA. I didn't think anything about it but responded with Dancing Queen. For her next turn, she did Fernando. I followed with Super Trouper. By then, we knew something was going on. She ran to the stage to finish Super Trouper with me. The rest of the night, we sang song after song by ABBA. It turned out, she is in an ABBA tribute band as the Frida girl. We had a blast!
