I posted a lengthy response to this, but beatking crashed and I lost it.

In a nutshell, it was a decent cover. Not stellar. The original was better. Adam D. needs to get a life. He is not Angus Young.

How did Beatking crash it?

I crashes mine frequently so I generally rt click and "copy" the text. If it crashes I reply again and rt click then "paste". Crash and burn is the redneck mantra.

What, with one of your bumper cars?

I typed out my lengthy, concise, mature, professional, music-mastering response and as soon as I hit submit, it all went away and there was nothing but CTC's last post. I hit the back button cuz sometimes it retains the data that I typed, but there was no luck. I really don't wish to Cut and Paste every response I do here, but I suppose responses such as this one should be done just to be safe. Or I suppose I could type it all out on Notepad or something.

I knew someone would bring that up. IE, ATM. Though it was acting funny lately. But then so was FF. Also using XP and Cox Communications/Suddenlink/Brighthouse.

I'd prefer not to have a carousel of browsers. 99% of things work fine with IE7. I keep FF as a backup.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
